2023 Solheim Cup venue, Finca Cortesin<\/a>, has underlined its status as a world class golf destination after receiving multiple accolades at this year\u2019s World Golf Awards Ceremony in Abu Dhabi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hosts for the next Solheim Cup in September 2023 accepted three prestigious honours at the recent World Golf Awards: \u2018Europe\u2019s Best Golf Venue\u2019, \u2018Spain\u2019s Best Golf Course\u2019, and \u2018Spain\u2019s Best Golf Hotel.<\/p>\n

Designed by leading golf course architect, Cabell Robinson, Finca Cortesin\u2019s globally renowned Championship layout, has been rewarded for its immaculate conditioning and outstanding attention to detail, creating a unique challenge surrounded by stunning vistas of the Costa del Sol.<\/p>\n

In preparation for next year\u2019s Solheim Cup, the course has undergone a series of upgrades. Led by the resort\u2019s Head Greenkeeper, Ignacio Soto, several key areas such as bunkers, tee boxes and fairways have been reinstated to improve consistency, texture and playability across the course.<\/p>\n
