The Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Junta de Andalucia, being loyal to its politics and to the magnificent results of previous seasons, have decided to continue actively supporting Golf as a great driving force for tourism. Therefore, in addition to its presence at the most outstanding International Golf fairs, it helps with the celebration of international tournaments that, besides attracting thousands of visitors to the area, it positions the region within world golf. Among those tournaments we could highlight the LIV Golf Andalucia, the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters, the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a for Women, two of the Tournaments of the Challenge Tour in Sevilla and Sancti Petri and the Circuit PGA Spain with the tournament of C\u00f3rdoba. This year, after the success of the Solheim Cup celebration for the first time in Spain, it has decided to support the promotion of amateur women\u2019s golf through the Ambassadors of the Solheim Cup by PING Circuit initiative which will visit 33 golf courses all around Spain.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

XXXV CAMPEONATO DE LA PGA DE ESPA\u00d1A BY CORDOBA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tournament will be played from the 2nd to the 4th of May and 144 professionals will be allowed to play, men and women, since the PGA Circuit is open to women\u2019s participation. It is open to amateur players also, given that the tournament will account for the Amateur World Ranking. The tournament couldn\u2019t be held on the scheduled date due to the inclement weather, but another date was appointed soon after, since it is one of the most historical of Spanish professional golf, with winners such as Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Ca\u00f1izares, Pepin Rivero and, recently, Alfredo Garcia Heredia.<\/p>\n

CHALLENGE TOUR IN SEVILLA AND SANCTI PETRI <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Real Club Sevilla Golf will hold the celebration of the 25\u00ba anniversary of the Challenge de Espa\u00f1a, a tournament that has been consolidated as one of the most important appointments of the season in the Challenge Tour, knowing that it is a tournament that skyrockets the players to the top of golf world. The data proves it, and the players will have the chance to make the best of their opportunity at this tournament, promoted by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, that will take place from the 9th till the 12th of May in Sevilla.<\/p>\n

RFEG and President of the Professionals Commitee, \u201cIt is a very especial edition, and it deserves to be held in such a good course as the Real Club Sevilla Golf. Looking back on the great moments we have lived during the last 24 editions; we can feel very proud not only of the winners that have excelled thanks to their victories at the Challenge de Espa\u00f1a, but also of the opportunities we could offer to our professionals to be able to play at the great circuits, such as they have done. We are very pleased with the job and very enthusiastic to go on focusing on the Challenge Tour\u201d. LIV GOLF IN VALDERRAMA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The LIV Golf will have 14 tournaments, on its second entire year, six of them on United States land and another six out of its frontiers, in addition to the individual and the team\u2019s championship. These two last without announcing its location and dates. Between the 12th and the 14th of July when the Arab League will arrive on our Spanish soil for the second time, and that will be, the same as last year, at the Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande (Andalucia), five months after it started. The tournament will be held one week before the celebration of the Open Championship at Royal Troon. The appointment at the Real Club de Golf Valderrama of San Roque will be five months after the beginning of its season. In 2023 it was played from the 30th of June until the 2nd of July and the American Talor Gooch won the title.<\/p>\n

ESTRELLA DAMM N.A. ANDALUCIA MASTERS IN SOTOGRANDE <\/strong><\/p>\n

The tournament will come back to the Real Golf Sotogrande from the 17th until the 20th of October 2024 and the Mediterranean beer elaborated with a 100% of natural ingredients will keep its relationship, started five years ago, with a tournament that will reach its 10th anniversary in 2024. The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters will be part of the \u201cBack 9\u201d in the renovated Race to Dubai in 2024, a stage of the calendar that includes nine of the tournaments and national opens with more weight in the history of the DP World Tour and that will be held from August to October 2024. \u201cWe are very proud to be part of the new Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters, a tournament which has become a milestone in the international golf calendar. We are looking forward to seeing the best golfers of the world at the unparalleled venue of the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande by the Mediterranean Sea\u201d, has declared Jorge Villa Vecchia, general director of the Damm.\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cThe DP World Tour is very proud to be associated to some of the most prestigious brands in the world and Estrella Damm no doubt fits in this category. Andalucia Master 2023 finished with the triumph of the Polish Adrian Meronk, who achieved his fourth title of the DP World Tour in Andalucia. The Estrella Damm will continue being the Official Beer of the 2024 edition of the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters<\/a>, a tournament of the DP world Tour valid for the Race to Dubai which is held thanks to the essential collaboration of the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, is promoted by Estrella Damm and the Concierge of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Junta de Andalucia, in addition to be co-financed with European funds and having been declared an event of exceptional public interest by the Spanish Government.<\/p>\n

ANDALUCIA COSTA DEL SOL OPEN DE ESPA\u00d1A<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a will be held in a course of the Costa del Sol, yet to be determined, from the 28th of November until the 1st of December. In this tournament the 700.000 euros in prizes will be distributed and it will close the Race to Costa del Sol. In 2023 this tournament was held in the Real Club de las Brisas and the Indian Player Aditi Ashok won the trophy, while the Thai Trichat Cheenglab achieved the title of the Race to Costa del Sol 2023 and the title of Rookie of the year in the final of the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

CIRCUITO SC AMBASSADOR CLUB BY PING\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CIRCUITO SC AMBASSADOR CLUB was born with the main objective of promoting and fostering the participation of women in golf and the Solheim Cup<\/a>. The Great Final at the Club de Golf La Quinta of Benahavis will be held in the last week of November 2024 coinciding with the week of the Open de Espa\u00f1a Femenino and it will bring together all the winners of each of the events played. It will be the first and the second of each event the ones to classify for the great final.<\/p>\n
