Jeeno Thitikul secured her fifth Ladies European Tour (LET) title after storming to a four-stroke victory at the 2025 PIF Saudi Ladies International.\u00a0<\/strong>The Thai star, who is number four in the Rolex Women\u2019s World Golf Rankings, began the day with a three-shot lead at Riyadh Golf Club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thitikul rolled in a birdie on the first before adding further birdies on the fourth and seventh holes to put herself in a commanding position.<\/p>\n

Another birdie on the 10th\u00a0was followed by a bogey on the next hole however, she soon added another birdie on 12 before a dropped shot on the 14th\u00a0hole.<\/p>\n

A round of 69 (-3) on the final day to end the week with a score of 16-under-par was more than enough to ensure Thitikul began her 2025 season in the best way.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means a lot to win and it\u2019s a really nice start for my 2025 season,\u201d\u00a0said Thitikul, who won the 2021 LET Race to Costa del Sol<\/strong><\/a> and Rookie of the Year titles.\u00a0\u201cI think everyone will be proud especially my team out there, they know how hard we work so it\u2019s paid off.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t look easy at all, especially to me! The greens are quite hard here and I am just trying to be more present and play my best out here. It feels like Scotland today. It was a challenging week here; it was tough on the tournament days with the weather.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am just trying to be myself out there on the course, I don\u2019t want to take things too seriously. That\u2019s why I can play smoother and be myself out there.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe play week in, week out alongside the best players in the world. At the same, we\u2019re trying to do our best and that\u2019s what sport is. Turning 22 next week and having this win as an early birthday present. is really special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Korea\u2019s Somi Lee finished the week in second place in the Individual competition with a score of 12-under-par after she captained her Team to victory yesterday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is the beginning of the season and it will definitely give me a boost for the rest of the season and next time, I\u2019ll try and win one,\u201d\u00a0said Lee.<\/p>\n

\u201cCompared to last year, my iron shots have improved a lot, and I\u2019ve gained more confidence and that is the main thing that is very important for this year. With lots of training and workouts, I\u2019m sure I can perform better than last year.\u201d<\/p>\n

England\u2019s\u00a0Annabell Fuller\u00a0recorded her best-ever finish on the LET with solo third place on 11-under-par.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old had a tricky front nine with three bogeys but gathered momentum on the back nine as three birdies in her closing four holes saw Fuller leap up the leaderboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels unreal, I don\u2019t know how to react right now. It\u2019s pretty special,\u201d\u00a0said Fuller.\u00a0\u201cMy front nine was a bit up and down and the weather was quite hard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just tried to battle through that, but it was really cool to learn from Jeeno [Thitikul] and watch her play, so that was special too.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith golf, you never know what\u2019s going to happen until the last putt drops, so going forward and in any situation knowing to stay with it until the very end, that\u2019s what I learned today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Four players finished in a share of fourth place with Japan\u2019s Chisato Iwai, Korea\u2019s Ina Yoon, Denmark\u2019s Nanna Koerstz Madsen, and Thailand\u2019s Ariya Jutanugarn all on 10-under-par.<\/p>\n

One shot further back, five players rounded out the top 10 with England\u2019s Charley Hull, Australia\u2019s Hira Naveed, China\u2019s Muni He, Austria\u2019s Emma Spitz, and Switzerland\u2019s Chiara Tamburlini on nine-under-par.<\/p>\n

In the LET Order of Merit<\/strong><\/a>, England\u2019s Cara Gainer continues to lead the standings with 505.18 points to her name, Thailand\u2019s Thitikul is now in second place with 500 points.<\/p>\n

England\u2019s Fuller has jumped up to third spot with 340 points, India\u2019s Diksha Dagar is fourth and Singapore\u2019s Shannon Tan is fifth.<\/p>\n

The LET season has a two-week break before a trip to Australia with the first of three events \u2013 the Australian WPGA Championship \u2013 taking place from March 6-9 at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
