South Africa\u2019s Casandra Alexander has been named the Ladies European Tour (LET) Player of the Month for April 2025. The LET Player of the Month award, which is new for the 2025 season, highlights and showcases the fantastic performances from our elite athletes seen on fairways across the globe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voted for by the fans on LET\u2019s Instagram, Alexander was shortlisted by commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker, alongside England\u2019s Mimi Rhodes, France\u2019s Perrine Delacour<\/strong> and Australia\u2019s Kesley Bennett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old had a month to remember in her homeland of South Africa as she recorded back-to-back runner-up finishes in the co-sanctioned events between the Sunshine Ladies Tour (SLT) and LET.<\/p>\n

The results were also her best-ever finishes on the LET, as she reached her best world ranking moving into the top 100 in the Rolex Women\u2019s World Golf Rankings<\/strong><\/a>, and clinched the Investec Order of Merit title on the SLT.<\/p>\n

After winning the award, she said: \u201cThank you so much to all the South African fans and those around the world for voting me as LET Player of the Month for April.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve received incredible support back home after finishing runner-up in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and I\u2019m truly grateful to have achieved those results in my home tournaments. I\u2019ve already achieved one of my goals for the year to get in the top 100 in the world rankings and I\u2019m excited for the year ahead!\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexander follows in the footsteps of Thailand\u2019s Jeeno Thitikul<\/strong><\/a> and England\u2019s Rhodes<\/strong>, who won the first two awards in February and March 2025 respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
