The Ladies European Tour (LET) has today announced that Alexandra Armas<\/a> will step down as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025. Armas has led the Tour since 2020, marking a period of significant growth, increased visibility, and strategic global collaboration in women\u2019s professional golf.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under Armas\u2019 leadership, the LET has experienced a remarkable transformation. Prize funds have more than doubled during her tenure, offering greater opportunities and financial rewards to players and reinforcing the Tour\u2019s commitment to helping women and girls achieve their dreams as professional athletes.\u00a0 The number of tournaments on the LET calendar has also grown substantially, giving players more chances to compete and fans more opportunities to engage with world-class women\u2019s golf across diverse global destinations.<\/p>\n

A key milestone of Armas\u2019 tenure has been the strengthening of the LET\u2019s strategic alliances, including the ground-breaking joint venture with the LPGA Tour. This global collaboration has helped elevate women\u2019s golf, creating a unified approach to growing the game and delivering value for players, partners, and fans.<\/p>\n

Commenting on Armas\u2019 leadership tenure, Liz Moore<\/strong>, Chair of the LPGA-LET Joint Venture Board of Directors, said: \u201cAlex has been a transformative force for the LET and for women\u2019s golf globally. Her leadership over the past six years has brought meaningful progress – not just in terms of increased purses and expanded playing opportunities – but in building a collaborative, international vision for women\u2019s professional golf.\u00a0 She\u2019s helped shape the LPGA-LET Joint Venture and her legacy will be characterised by growth, inclusion, global ambition and deep care.\u00a0 All of us on the Joint Venture Board are grateful for her leadership and commitment and wish her every success in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The LEGV Board remains grateful for Alex\u2019s contributions and appreciates her commitment to a smooth transition prior to her last day. The Board has retained Elevate Talent to lead the search in identifying the LET\u2019s next CEO.
