{"id":24047,"date":"2025-11-30T16:14:16","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T15:14:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ladiesingolf.com\/?p=24047"},"modified":"2026-02-06T16:14:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T15:14:44","slug":"nadaud-wins-2025-andalucia-costa-del-sol-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ladiesingolf.com\/en\/nadaud-wins-2025-andalucia-costa-del-sol-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Nadaud wins 2025 Andaluc\u00eda Costa del Sol Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Nadaud wins with a total of 16-under-par in Spain<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The Frenchwoman ends the LET Order of Merit in third place<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>France\u2019s\u00a0Nastasia Nadaud\u00a0stormed to victory firing a 66 (-6) to win the season-ending <strong>Andaluc\u00eda Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a presented by Oysho<\/strong> by four strokes on the Ladies European Tour (LET).<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old started the day in third place, five shots behind overnight leader <strong>Trichat Cheenglab<\/strong> and found birdies early in her round at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf.<\/p>\n<p>Nadaud made birdies on the first and third holes before an eagle on the fourth and she made a further birdie on the fifth to go to the top of the leaderboard.<\/p>\n<p>After the turn, the Frenchwoman rolled in three birdies on the trot on holes 10, 11 and 12 before dropping a shot on the 13th\u00a0and 16th\u00a0holes.<\/p>\n<p>However, Nadaud went to the 18th\u00a0hole with a four-shot lead and rolled in her par to seal her win her maiden LET title with a score of 16-under-par.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t really know what to say! It\u2019s been so intense all week, I\u2019m really happy with the outcome,\u201d\u00a0said Nadaud.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s been a rollercoaster week, but it\u2019s insane. I don\u2019t have the words for right now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll week I had pretty weird shots to play from the trees and missing fairways, I hit amazing shots as well. I had a really hot start and was five-under through five holes. My putting has been really good all week and it has saved me a lot of shots. It\u2019s been really intense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the previous experiences [of finishing second] really helped me. First in Belgium, I had a really stressful shot out of the rough and I stressed out. The same at La Sella, it was stressful and I didn\u2019t know how to handle that. This time I had a stressful back nine from 13 to 16 and I knew how to handle that much better in my head and my game of golf as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nadaud has been working with LET player Michele Thomson as her caddie since the start of September and she credits her with improving her confidence in her game.<\/p>\n<p>She added:\u00a0\u201cIt has been an amazing run of events with Michele since she started with me in Houston. She has really helped me with my self-confidence with my mental game and my golf game of course. She brings so much confidence for me, I really love that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s\u00a0Kirsten Rudgeley\u00a0ended the week in solo second place after a final round of 69 (-3) in Malaga.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old rolled in a birdie at the first and added another on the fourth before back-to-back birdies on six and seven.<\/p>\n<p>She added another on the 14th\u00a0hole before her only mistake of the day \u2013 a double bogey on 17 \u2013 but it was enough to seal second place on 12-under-par.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was amazing, it was a good week,\u201d\u00a0said Rudgeley. \u201cThe golf course was amazing. Everyone is in the same boat, and we have all earned our spot to be here. It\u2019s nice to finish on a good finish, it will make the flight a bit more comfortable. It\u2019s nice ready for the off-season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis golf course has definitely got a few holes where you can lose shots and unfortunately that happened for me, but I played nicely all day and played well all week. It\u2019s nice to see the game trending in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Four players finished in a share of third place with Australia\u2019s\u00a0Kelsey Bennett, Germany\u2019s\u00a0Olivia Cowan, Norway\u2019s\u00a0Dorthea Forbrigd\u00a0and France\u2019s\u00a0Perrine Delacour\u00a0all on 11-under-par.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great final day for Bennett who only had one dropped shot on her scorecard alongside seven birdies for her 66 (-6).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t played here before,\u201d\u00a0said Bennett.\u00a0\u201cI started off a bit rocky but came good towards the end there. Today was super solid and I actually holed some putts, so it was good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Cowan made six birdies and one bogey on her final day in Spain with a result that moved her into the top 70 of the Order of Merit to secure her full playing rights for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was good, I got off to a really good start,\u201d\u00a0said Cowan.\u00a0\u201cI was three-under after four, I played really nicely I had a couple of ropey shots, but I could manage to get them back on track apart from nine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was hitting it much better over the weekend compared to the first few days.
