Finca Cortesin Hotel, Golf & Spa<\/a>, host venue of the 2023 Solheim Cup, has further enhanced its position at the forefront of women\u2019s golf in Spain and Europe by finalising new 12-month sponsorship agreements with Ladies European Tour stars Noemi Jim\u00e9nez and Laura G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n

The exclusive resort in Andalusia has extended its long-term partnership with Jim\u00e9nez, 27, for a sixth year while entering into a new relationship with G\u00f3mez, 24, one of the rising talents of the ladies\u2019 game in Spain.<\/p>\n

Finca Cortesin \u2013 which will become the first venue in Spain to host the Solheim Cup, the biggest team competition in women\u2019s golf \u2013 is committed to growing the ladies\u2019 game both on a national and international level.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to representing the resort worldwide, Jim\u00e9nez and 2019 LET Access Tour Rookie of the Year G\u00f3mez \u2013 who were both born in Marbella \u2013 will also be at the forefront of the venue\u2019s drive to promote women\u2019s golf across the Andalusia region, including hosting a clinic for players of all abilities at Finca Cortesin on Global Women\u2019s Golf Day 2021 at the start of June.<\/p>\n

Spain will become the sixth different European nation to stage the biggest team competition in women\u2019s golf when the Solheim Cup heads to Andalusia in two years\u2019 time, with the biennial contest between Europe and the United States set to take place from September 18-24, 2023.<\/p>\n
