From November 28 to December 1, 2024, the Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf de Málaga will host the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, one of the most awaited events of the Ladies European Tour (LET). This prestigious tournament will close the LET season, crowning the winner of the Order of Merit, which rewards the most regular player on the circuit. With the sponsorship of Andalucía and Costa del Sol as main sponsors and Oysho as naming partner, this edition looks set to be one for the books, bringing together 75 stars from all over the world.

The event has established itself as a benchmark in women’s golf, both for its importance in the calendar and for the quality of the players competing. Out of the 75 players, 64 qualify based on their position in the LET Order of Merit, while there are 8 invitation spots and 3 reserved for the best Spanish amateurs. These amateur spots are shared between the winner of the Spanish Amateur Championship and the two best-ranked players in the world amateur ranking. In addition, the best-performing amateur of the tournament will be awarded the Celia Barquín Award, an initiative that was born in 2022 as a tribute to the Cantabrian player.

In its previous editions, renowned players have excelled, such as Spain’s Carlota Ciganda, who was crowned champion at Los Naranjos Golf Club in 2021 and will be the main Spanish representative in this year’s edition. Also memorable was the double victory of Azahara Muñoz, who won at Aloha Golf in 2016 and at Real Club de Golf Guadalmina in 2017.
