Golf lovers are in luck: the 25th of June Azata Golf has been inaugurated. The course is in the Costa del Sol, precisely in the area of Estepona.

It is located in a privileged place, surrounded by nature and with impressive views of the Mediterranean sea and the mountains of Sierra Bermeja. The climate is perfect during the whole year and the views are just marvellous.

Azata Golf has 18 holes par 71. The course, owned by the Azata Group, has been designed by Sterling & Martin and was built by GTM. Its fairways are perfectly defined around the Arroyo de Enmedio with the lakes placed in strategic positions, which allows to play some of the holes in different ways, depending if the player wants to take more or less risks. The greens are generous, with various flag positions, making it ideal for all types of players. The second part is all facing down towards the Mediterranean sea, which allows the ball to fly infinitely. The iconic hole is the 15, a short par 3 which forces the player to a perfect shot not to end up in the waters of the lake.

The course provides a rental service of buggies, although it is perfectly possible to walk, so electric and manual carts are available for rent. It is also possible to rent clubs, which are all new by the brand Taylor Made.

The clubhouse is placed in a privileged location, with frontal views to the sea. It has spectacular terraces, where having a beer after playing is priceless and it is the great finale for the whole golfing experience.
