The CIRCUITO SC AMBASSADOR CLUB was born with the main objective of promoting and fostering the participation of women in golf and the Solheim Cup. The Great Final at the Club de Golf La Quinta of Benahavis will be held in the last week of November 2024 coinciding with the week of the Open de España Femenino and it will bring together all the winners of each of the events played. It will be the first and the second of each event the ones to classify for the great final.

Granada

On the 16th of March, Granada Club de Golf hosted the fourth round of the SC Ambassador Club by Ping Circuit. With a shotgun start at 9.30am and individual Stableford scoring, players received a welcome pack and enjoyed a hard day’s golf.

After the rain during the week, the sun shone throughout the round with temperatures unseasonably warm for winter in Granada. Participants enjoyed the superb condition of the course, with stunning views of the white Sierra Nevada, where more than one player took the opportunity to take a snapshot.

The SC Ambassador Club was represented by two of its ambassadors, Montserrat San Francisco Quintana (Ladies in Golf) and Ana Carrasco Sanz (Granada Club de Golf).

This event coincided with the sixth day of the club’s Ladies League, so we had the usual collaboration with HSN.

At the end of the day, MªDolores Ruíz de Morales Rivero and Beatríz Pérez Titos, who finished first and second with an excellent score of 44 and 40 points respectively, received the trophy, a bag of Ping clubs and a ticket to the Grand Final of the circuit, which will be held on 16 November at La Quinta Golf & Country Club (Benahavís).

After the event, the prize draw was held and participants enjoyed a wonderful lunch. 

Tenerife

The Solheim Cup Ambassador Club Circuit, sponsored by Ping Spain and Andalusia, took place on 9th March at the Real Club de Golf de Tenerife. A total of 40 ladies took part in the individual Stableford competition, with Julie Aube winning the first category with 37 points and Eugenia Soriano winning the second category with 39 points. Both received a trophy, a Ping bag and an invitation to the Grand Final on the Costa del Sol in November.

Menorca

Jorge de Diego and Teresa Juaneda, one of the pioneers of golf in Menorca, won the SC Ambassadors by Ping tournament held at Son Parc. After the game, the participants enjoyed a delicious lunch at Sa Bouera des Golf by Pruden Izquierdo.

Antequera Golf

Ana Belén Pérez Hidalgo and Manuel Alcántara Casado won the SC Ambassador Club By PING Circuit tournament at Antequera Golf. Despite the cold weather, two of the Solheim Cup Ambassadors – María Luisa Jiménez and Maribel Bravo – joined host Elena Sánchez at the magnificent tournament.
