The artist Elisa Cook has surprised us again with another of her art samples. ‘Mares de Luz’ (Seas of Light) has been the title chosen for her exhibition that was held at the Leyton Art Gallery, next to Teatro Goya Cinema in Puerto Banus.

This has been the only opportunity we have had to enjoy her oil paintings live in La Costa del Sol, but Elisa Cook has a great experience on expositions, as her pictures have been exhibited in the best galleries all over the world, in cities such as Paris, Salzburg and New York. She has also exhibited in places as emblematic as the Nantong Museum in China or the Palais des Nations at the United Nations. One of her paintings is currently in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Mataró, where it shares the space with works of Miró, Picasso and Tápies, among others. Many art lovers attended the show and all of them were amazed and fascinated by her works. The way she treats the light and its reflection on the water along with the mastery with which she uses colour were the most admired characteristic of the works.
