I think that the Solheim Cup is the quintessential teams golf tournament. lt is a week of absolute fellowship. lt is passion far your country and your continent. The rivalry between the teams is at its highest and there is no doubt that the Europeans bond together.

Asan ambassador, the fact that the Solheim Cup is held in Andalucía fills me with pride. lt will be an absolute luxury to be able to enjoy the world’s best women players.

Nuria Araquistain – Real Club de Golf El Prat

The Solheim Cup is the biggest women’s team golf event in the world. lt is a unique competition, with a special magic, where the tandem of players and audience makes it unequal. it is a week of fellowship, commitment and dedication.

lt is a given that the audience at Finca Cortesin wi/1 be fundamental far the progress of the competition… we al! hope and wish that Europe gets the victory and we’ll fight far it.

Golf is my passion and it is a pride, an honour and a great satisfaction that my club, the Real Club de Golf El Prat has chosen me to make better known and to publicise this great competition amongst the great golf family. Since they entrust me with this Job, I am trying to make the Solheim 2023 known every minute of my day. I am happy and Joyful because every day I am more convinced that a Job we/1 done wi/1 lead to an unequalled success, we al! have to do our bit.

lt is wonderful to share the fact that this competition comes to Spain in 2023 at last. I am convinced that Spain as a country, Andalucía, the Costa del Sol, al! the institutions involved, Finca Cortesin and the great group of Ambassador which I have the honour to be part of, al/ of us have to make sure that the organization of this event and everything that it entails is at a leve! where it deserves to be, at the top. In my opinion, the Solheim Cup is at the top of al! the women’s golf competitions. As an ambassador, I want to contribute by making the Solheim Cup and its importance within golf better known.

Irene Berenguer – Club de Golf Montanya

The Solheim Cup is the greatest women’s golf event and it is a privilege to hold it in Spain. lt is one of my dreams come true. I have always dreamt of being among the audience of the tournament. Now, I will attend and, even more, I am one of its ambassadors.

This is a prize that golf has given me and I can’t be more thankful, having the world’s best women golfers playing on one of our golf courses, stepping on the same ground as we do…

The enthusiasm that we shared in our meeting in 2021 and what we are living and we are going to live in 2022, it is vitamin far our lives. We are the happiest of all the golfers waiting far September 2023.

Camilla Hedberg – Golf Terramar

This is a unique and magical event in which an individual sport becomes a team sport during a week ful! of emotions and adrenaline.

In my opinion, this is one of the best events in the world of golf of and sports; it manages to create an atmosphere and spirit unequal to any other week during the year. / think this is an event that takes this sport into another dimension.

My essential task is to make this wonderful event better known and that peop/e know that it wi/1 be held in Spain in 2023 far the first time in history. Many people, golfers or not, know nothing about the Solheim Cup and I think that we have to make the best of the fact that it comes to our home and so that it becomes known and creates curiosity. The main parts of my task as an ambassador are to explain the event, to try to transmit the emotions that such an event as this can make you feel and the importance of the fact that it is going to be held in Spain.

Petra Darmstadter – Golf Peralada

This is the most important women’s golf event in the world, it begun in 1990 and it comes far the first time to the Costa del Sol, Andalucía. This is a unique opportunity to be part of and to contribute to promote women ‘s golf. I hope there will be a befare and after far women’s golf, far Spain as a golf destination and far women ‘s sports in general.

lt is a great platform to create a consciousness and interest far women ‘s golf within our club and in our regían, through the organization of different events and action related to the Solheim Cup. As a golf representative I have the great opportunity of promoting the event and its importance far women ‘s golf development, as well as Spain as a first-rate golf touristic destination among all my international contacts.
