Michel Meeus took over The Range Marbella one year and a half ago. Since then, one of his objectives has been to make of it a reference place for the practice of Golf, to increase the number of women playing golf and that more women come to the practice court every day.

Ever since, he hasn’t stopped working and investing to offer the leading technology in the market and all the facilities, both in the technical level and in services terms. The installation of the Trackman at its bays, was followed by the acquisition of the Robogolfpro©, which is unique in Europe and capable to simulate the swings of the best players in the world. The Range Marbella has also a large parking area, a cafe-restaurant specialising in healthy food with a great terrace, which also serves at the practice court and play area for the little ones.

In the section of women’s golf, Michel, who has the best counselling as he lives with two amateur players (his wife and his daughter), has organized different clinics focused specifically on the female body. Since women’s muscular composition and development is different, the movement of the swing has also its own particularities. And, who is better than a woman to teach others? Michel has carried out a thorough search until he has managed to get some of the best golf coaches to be able to improve our game. Denise Doyle, Piti Martínez Bernal, Laura Gómez Ruiz and Noemí Jimenez deliver clinics and private classes at The Range.

Support to Professional Women’s Golf

Michel’s commitment to Women’s Golf doesn’t stop growing. This season, The Range Marbella is sponsoring Laura Gómez Ruiz, given her the possibility to compete in tournaments on the Ladies European Tour or the LET Access Series. In return, she is giving different clinics at The Range between one tournament and the next.

Support to Amateur Women’s Golf

Clinics specialized on the short game, the driver, the pitch, parties and celebrations; everything is possible at The Range Marbella. With the help of his wife, he tries to offer women everything that can ease their comfort and learning. Furthermore, a group of women has been formed that join together to practice and even to go out to the course. Any women, regardless of their golf level, will be welcome to the group. Sometimes they even go to the course accompanied by a professional. 

Women’s Golf Day

The Range Marbella is the only Golf School in Spain associated to this programme. It consists of a celebration of the women who love this sport. During one week, activities are organized in different golf centres associated to this brand all around the world. It was a great celebration that consisted of a clinic given by Laura Gómez Ruiz, a fashion show organized by the Mijas Golf Proshop, a breakfast and some health and beauty tips offered by Costa Spine and Arque Clinic.

Parties at The Range Marbella

Another initiative of The Range is organizing parties periodically. The objective is to achieve a social atmosphere similar to that at a Golf club, facilitating the meeting of its customers and boosting the social relationships among them. A clinic, music, games and food are the ingredients of these successful events that are already part of the DNA of the centre.
