La Pilistras was created with the aim of becoming one of the best restaurants in the area. Located in Lauro Golf, it offers a simple cuisine based on the quality of the products. It is run by professionals with a vast experience and love for gastronomy, in the kitchen as well as in the lounge.

The setting is idyllic: a grand country house, very tastefully decorated and full of details. Everything is original and eye-catching, from the cafeteria ceiling, adorned with coffee sacks, to the chairs, including the dishes; creating on the whole a harmonious space. The host, Ignacio Diaz, has looked for the comfort of his customers overall: “When clients come in, we want them to think how comfortable they feel here and how much they enjoy the food, ambience and tranquility; they have to love everything”, he explains.

Ignacio, who studied at Les Roches, is a passionate and has a large experience in gastronomy. For the occasion, he has surrounded himself with a team as exceptional as the project required, for they are all experts on any of the essential specialties necessary to be successful. So, for example, Rafael Gomez, an expert on meat, is in the kitchen and Alvaro and Philip, who are well-known maîtres, are in the lounge.

Regarding the food, it should be noted that the Las Pilastras menu is very alive. Special suggestions from each season are added to its two-yearly changes: “It is a traditional cuisine made with local and seasonal products, because they are more cost effective and with the best quality. Furthermore, it changes a lot, every weekend we have special suggestions dependent on products of the season”, Ignacio explains. But if a choice is needed, rice and meats are the most prized dishes by customers.

It is a perfect place for couples, groups of friends or families, there are live shows during weekends and soon they will have the biggest beer cask in Andalucia, with 1500 liters. Events can also be held at this space, for there is capacity for up to 200 guests. Their professionalism as well as their attention to details make sure that all the celebrations, whether it is a personal or a professional one, become a success.
