Natalia Escuriola was the champion of the first round of the Santander Golf Tour 2019, held at the Norba Golf Club in Cáceres, with a final round of +1 for a -2 total. Natalia also won the ProAm, proving that she is on the same level than last year. María Hernández finished second with four strokes from the winner. The next test will be held at Lauro Golf, Málaga. It will be the first time that the Santander Golf Tour visit this course.

The Organization of Cystic Fibrosis patients in Spain, of which he is vice-president Jorge Sanz, will feature prominently in the Santander Golf Tour 2019. The Banco Santander has decided to show its support for this organization and thus give greater visibility to this rare disease . Throughout this year a series of actions will be developed in order to raise funds and raise public awareness about this disease.
